Landrum Baptists Plan For 150th Anniversary Landrum First Baptist Church Sunday appointed the following committees for the 150th birthday celebration of the church: Music, Miss Pamela Ivoon, Mrs. A. Presbyterians Elect Deacons At a congregational meeting on Sunday night, the Tryon Presby terian Church elected five deacons, replacing those whose term of office had expired. The five dea cons were Walter Newman, Enoch Prather Jr., Jack Rezab, Dr. Geo. Vosburgh and Dr. Jule Wellborn. These deacons will be formally ordained and installed on Easter Sunday. * * * * The Young Adults’ group of the Tryon Presbyterian Church has elected its officers for the coming year as follows: President, Dr. George Vosburgh Jr.; vice presi dent, W.
